I am a Registered Nurse and a Nutritionist. I completed my nursing degree in 1983 and worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse in a variety of Medical Centers throughout the country for 25 years. Feeling like I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish in nursing I decided to pursue another passion of mine, nutrition. I chose Bastyr University because I agree with their philosophy and whole foods approach to nutrition. I completed my BS degree in the Natural Health Sciences with a major in Nutrition in 2005. My passion is nutrition education.
In addition to my nutrition practice, I work as a health coach assisting individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease to live healthier lives.
I offer health coaching services by e-mail or phone. I can work with most individuals, whether you have special dietary needs or you just want to learn how to eat healthier in order to achieve or maintain your optimal health.
